The Sales Associate serves as an expert to help customers complete their project.
This associate provides excellent customer service in all departments.
Essential Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Greeting customers Provide friendly and professional help to customers.
Eagerness to understand the customer's specific needs in order to pair the best product and service for their project.
Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer questions.
Taking customers to the product and walking them through the project, when necessary.
Demonstrate knowledge of stock and special-order products within the department and/or store.
Operates store equipment, as needed (telephone, computers, key cutter, saw, paint mixer, pipe threader, glass cutter, pallet jack).
Unloading and stocking merchandise in an accurate and timely manner to ensure our customers locate the right product for their project.
Delivers a quick, professional, and friendly checkout experience.
Follows store safety policies and procedures.
Required
Qualifications:
Available to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction) Able to walk/stand constantly Able to lift up to 50 pounds Preferred
Qualifications:
1 year of experience in customer service in a retail environment 2
