Essential Functions:
Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
The Team Member scans or enters number into keypad, lifts/moves goods, makes change, bags if necessary, does special projects as directed including restocking returns.
The Team Member will block aisles, setup checkout areas, setup displays as needed.
Team member smiles, invites and greets customers as they get ready to purchase their items.
Team members grasps item, scans item over reader, slides item down belt and assists with bagging the products.
Team member tallies items, takes money, makes change.
Team member bags items and puts bags into carts whenever necessary.
Team member sets-up other checkout lanes.
Team Member performs other tasks whenever necessary (restocking items).
Team member demonstrates good customer service skills.
Team member responds to and accommodates other requests by customers.
Team member keeps their area clean and presentable.
